BNL revisited

Barenaked Ladies release a record in 2003 called Everything To Everyone and they also introduced a blog to go along with creating it. As they were creating the record I was an avid reader of their blog. Last Thursday, Chris Pirillo interviewed Steven Page on his show and I was intrigued to visit BNL again to see what has changed. I love how creative they have been over the years and even the website has been revamped since I last visited two years ago. If you don't know Steven Page has released a solo albumand I hope to get some soundbytes out there hear it before I even dare purchase the album. I am sure its a hoot but as like any record that I used to buy. I would have to listen to some of the music first. Come to think of it, the only time that I have heard of Steven's release was from the Chris Pirillo Show. Man, I've been living a cave this summer!

Still preparing for the Wedding and yes still working on the house when I can find the time. Painted the Kitchen and Dining Room today. Well, I better go finish up and clean up before Dot reads this and starts thinking that I don't do anything again. I LOVE HER and when September 3 rolls around, I will love her forever.

FedEx Racing highlights

....“Coming off of qualifying we knew we had a car capable of running with the leaders."... After ten laps, both single file and side-by-side, the officials deemed the track ready for racing and the green flag waved to bring the field, and rain-soaked but enthusiastic crowd, to life...Leffler knew from the onset that the #11 was too loose to challenge and after dropping out of the draft he lost several spots as the cars in the line pushed by him on the inside. By lap 18 Leffler had dropped back to 35th and radioed crew chief Mike Ford that the car was loose everywhere....
When Bobby Hamilton, Jr. lost a tire and hit the turn one wall on lap 103, the caution flag flew for the sixth time of the night. The FedEx team made the decision to stay out and lead a lap in order to pick up the five valuable bonus points for the first time this season. When Leffler brought the car in on lap 105, Ford again ordered a track bar adjustment along with fuel and four fresh tires....Jason Leffler piloted the #11 FedEx Monte Carlo to an 18th place finish at Daytona International Speedway, marking his best result since a 12th place finish at the Advance Autoparts 500 at Martinsville Speedway on April 12...

Lefler finished 18th place!! Way to go Jason!

Ecclesiastes

Light is sweet! and it is pleasant for the eyes to see the sun, However, many years a man may live, let him as he enjoys them all, remember that the days of darkness will be many. All that is to come is vanity.

Rejoice, O young man, while you are young, and let your heart be glad in the days of your youth. Follow the ways of your heart, the vision of your eyes; Yet understand that as regards all this God will bring you to judgement.

Ward off grief from your heart and put away trouble from your presence, though the dawn of youth is fleeting.
