The 11 Car replacement driver

Terry Labonte drove the #11 Car yesterday and ended up finishing 37th right behind his younger brother Bobby Labonte. I am very disappointed about this finish. I was kinda hoping Terry would bring my hopes to have #11 finish in the top ten. I guess I should put my hopes up too high until Terry gets to a track that suits him best. Road-style tracks probably isnt Terry's idea for a race but then again he carries with him years of experience.

Four more races left before the Chase!

National Underwear Day

Today is National Underwear Day. Normally, I would endorse no pants on Fridays but I guess Wednesday will be an exception. Okay so if all is now said and done, Off with your Pants!!

Leffler Out!

Just read the news that Jason Leffler has been released from driving the #11 FedEx race car! I have been a fan of Jason since the beginning of the season who has been an all out underdog to catch the top ten in the Nextel Cup. Its too bad that he hasn't lived up to the expectations of Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR). According to the article the three drivers who are still with JGR will be taking on the responsibilities of driving the #11 Car.

It really hurts to see a seasoned driver like Leffler leave his post before the seaons is over. They should have given him at least the season to finish. Leffler really represents how I have been at work this year. Being pulled to work all over and not given the opportunity to finish what I started.

Melville is my current project. Its been really great to work with a team that really cares about their job. And I am sure Jason Leffler felt that way to with the FedEx team. Given our similarities, I am determined to make a mark where I am before I get pulled out of this assignment. And thats where Jason and I are different. Mr. Leffler good luck in your future endeavors. Hope to see you next year in another NASCAR racing machine.

Begin Countdown

Okay, I have to make sure all my guests are accounted for. Gotta have all the responses from all those that are coming to the reception! If you got my invitation, you have better sent back the response cards! Dot is hounding me for all those that are coming. Gotta make sure I have the itineraries of those staying at the house so that I can make arrangements for their extended stay since we won't be there come Monday after the wedding! Where's, the freeking chocolates? Arent they suppose to be here by now? Priority delivery my butt!

Lying in bed, just like Brian Wilson did...gotta sing a little just to get my calm composure. Did I forget anything? Oh yeah, I have to drill holes on those thank you cards to put on the giveaway bags. Set the possible date for taking pictures and I have to move some money from my savings to checking account! 192 people! We're over the initial limit folks.

Dot was yelling at me last night but I calmed her down. Its her day and I need to be like Pavlov's dogs.

Gotta go, sago!
